The Alvin Youth Bowling program is starting up on January 9, 2010 at 10:00AM. We will be meeting every Saturday morning and bowling 3 games. Coaching will be provided by volunteers Garland New and Joe Ruiz Jr. Both are certified USBC Silver Level Coaches and will be able to assist your with your bowling questions. Come to the Alvin Bowling Company at 300 Motel Drive in Alvin, TX for a great way to start your weekend. We are always bowling through rain or shine, freezing weather or blistering summer heat. The Alvin Youth Bowling Program would like to thank all of our students, their parents, volunteers, and supporters for another great year. We started this year with a bowling center that was still recovering from damage caused by Hurricane Ike and we were determined to rebuild our Youth Bowling Program. The Alvin Bowling Center reopened in February and we've since had two successful Saturday morning youth leagues and are currently in the middle of the Alvin High School Bowling season. The next Saturday Morning Youth Bowling League will begin in January 2010 and we look forward to seeing you there. Please contact us if you have any questions. The Alvin High School Bowling Club will be having their open tryouts on the above dates at the Alvin Bowling Center. The AlvinYouthBowling.com celebrated the end of the Summer 2009 season with a bowling awards party that included toys, food, and drinks for the kids and their families today. Everyone had as much fun as they could stand while bowling their 3 games. The coaches relaxed their "coaching eye" just a bit and joined in on the action too. Thanks to everyone that continues to support our youth bowling program and we're looking forward to starting up our Fall 2009 session on September 12 @ 10:00AM! We hope to see you there! Take care and enjoy the last week of your Summer break. (May 28, 2009) Team AlvinYouthBowling.com is currently in 1st Place in the Texas State Bowling Tournament! Team AlvinYouthBowling.com participated in the Texas State Tournament this past weekend and is currently in 1st Place within Division 3. The team consisted of coaches Garland New, Joe Ruiz Jr, along with Elizabeth New, Joe Ruiz Sr, and Wally Ramirez. The Alvin team bowled a solid 3,134 three game team set which is 150 pins above the current 2nd Place team.

| USBC Youth League Saturdays!
Our USBC Youth Leagues are open to children of all ages and all skill levels. They are held on Saturday mornings at 10 AM at the Alvin Bowling Company lanes located in Alvin, TX. We follow a typical league format where the bowlers are divided into teams and bowl against each other during the season. Our USBC certified coaching staff is readily available to help those that request assistance. The youth leagues are USBC sanctioned and awards will be presented to recognize all bowling achievements.
Walk-in bowlers are always welcome to join us throughout the season. Just come on in and you'll be bowling in no time! The Alvin High School Bowling team was created in late 2006 in preparation for the 2007 season. Many of the high school bowlers began in our Saturday morning USBC Youth bowling programs while others qualified during open tryouts.
